Cookie Lounge

This weekend we went to Austin's new sweet treat on campus, the Cookie Lounge. You get to pick your favorite dough and your favorite topping(s) and they bake your cookie to order. Charlotte pulled up a chair to check out all the action. You can watch the whole process. Very cool and yummy, too!

Choosing our cookie toppings - m&m's for shadow and chocolate chips for mommy.
Watching the cookies bake with dad. Only 4 minutes for each cookie!

Enjoying our sweet treats outside in the beautiful spring weather.

Daddy's Birthday!

Daddy finally entered his 30s! And Mommy doesn't feel like such an old maid. To celebrate, Mommy and Daddy went out to dinner at Sienna by the studio and then to see Jerry Seinfeld at Bass Concert Hall. It was a really fun night!

Celebrating with family on Andrew's actual birthday. Steak dinner at III Forks downtown. Yum!
Andrew's favorite - chocolate cake. Happy Birthday!!

Easter 2009

We had a really fun Easter this year. In the morning, we went to church and then had brunch with Papa, Seannie and Seffie. Then we headed out to Gigi's house in Elgin for a nap and Easter festivities. Charlotte decided that there was no reason to nap on Easter! So, we played outside and had an amazing egg hunt with all the cousins.
Hanging out at Gigi's country house for an Easter BBQ.
Marshmallow eggs are Cici's favorite!

Serving tea and cake to the Easter guests in my pretty bunny dress. Thank you cousin Gavin for my new teaset! Charlotte loves it!

Weekend Getaway

Charlotte's favorite place to ride.
Checking out the butterfly garden outside our hotel.

Swimming in the kiddie pool.
We spent some family time together at the Hyatt Lost Pines in Bastrop. We love having a lazy day by the pool and hanging out by the river. We recommend this property to anyone with kids - they have so many cool family activities. We rode ponies, made s'mores at night and played in the waterslide at the pool. Lots of fun and only 30 minutes from Austin!

Pictures by the Tree

One day Mommy wanted to take a picture of Charlotte outside on our way to the library. Somehow that started a tradition. Now, everyday we MUST take a picture by the tree before we get into Mommy's car. Most of the time I take the pictures on my phone because its the only thing I have in my hand. Notice we never leave the house without something coming with us....

Blog-A-Thon

Swinging with Uncle Seannie - one of Charlotte's favorite activities. We are so glad that Uncle Sean and Seth live so close and we get to see them all the time.

I have been terrible about blogging lately....can I blame it on the pregnancy?!? Anyway, here goes a long series of events that have been going on over the last month or so in the life of the Milams.
